General Function
Develop relationships with the general and / or specialized media to increase awareness of the company and it's products.
Objectives and Duties
- Act as liason between the media and the company (develop good relationships to get the best possible exposure in the media).
- Contact new journalists and new magazines that are likely to cover our products.
- Respond to requests for information from journalists using game prepresentations provided by product heads (game characteristics, context etc).
- Create and update contact files continuously.
- Write and send press releases and send press kits to the various media (game launches, partnerships etc).
- Organise shootings for TV media coverage and follow them up.
- Monitor media feedback.

- Differentiate us from the competition by setting up events.
- Arouse the interest of journalists with the right product at the right time (seize opportunities).

Games Tester
General Function
Detect bugs and failures in games so programmers can make the required corrections before the game is launched on the market. Play finsihed titles shown to GMX Media from third parties and decide if the title is a polished enough product to be launched on the market.
Objectives and Duties
- Test game failures (check the various modes of the game, make sure menus function properly, check the frame rates/display speed.
- Prepare a report and classify bugs as a working base for programmers responsible for correcting all game failures.
- Decide whether titles shown to GMX Media are worthy of being launched on the market and what markets it would succeed in.
- Give a breakdown of titles shown to GMX Media. ie. Game Story, Genre, Platform,
- Features, Age Group and what makes this game different.
Challenges
- Work on very early developed titles where the percentage of bugs is very high.
- Continually test menus, functions, and different settings. Use all combinations possible to cover every scenario, however tedious.

Required Skills
- Be an avid videogame player and be able to play all genres on all platforms.
- Have patience and discipline.
- Have a critical mind.
- Be methodical.
- Good writing skills for reports.
